“This was our first time at a pregnancy class and we both found it really informative. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed and content informative and thought provoking. Some useful hints & tips too.”
“We found attending this class incredibly worthwhile. We didn’t know what to expect, but we were delighted at the information given. We learned so much, and got some great tips and advice on pregnancy and labour. It was a lovely relaxed, non-preachy atmosphere and we have booked the full course, so cannot wait to get started”
“Wow….my partner Clare and I attended the session in Solihull and what a combination it provided. Contacts for the future, confidence that there is support and a network out there, information (much more than we expected), awareness of so much more than the midwife has been able to give us, a really personal tour and introduction to the facility there and the midwives who run it.”
“I was so grateful that my friend recommended this class. It is unusual to be able to attend a class in early pregnancy and i felt like this was just what i needed. The chance to meet others who were feeling the same twinges and discomforts that i was, made me realise that everything was normal and i could relax. Thanks Sarah for a fabulous session. I look forward to starting my course in a few months.”
This session offers mums and their partners an amazing opportunity to discuss pregnancy.

This fun and engaging session, enables you to meet other parents-to-be, share experiences and ask local experts any questions you might have about your choices around pregnancy and place of birth. It is often the first chance you have to include your partner and offer him the space to discuss his role during your pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period.
During the session we can discuss:-
How your body is changing to accommodate your growing baby.
Recognising common pregnancy discomforts and how to alleviate them.
Understanding the way that your baby experiences life within the womb.
Discuss the importance of a partners role during pregnancy, birth and early parenting.
Explore the varying emotions that you and your partner may go through during pregnancy.
Following your session you will be invited to enjoy a tour of the birth unit and meet the midwives as well!!
Our next sessions at Solihull Hospital – Netherbrook Birth Centre will be held on:
Wednesday 24th April 7 – 9 pm
Tuesday 4th June 7 – 9 pm
