One week to go!!

Almost there and SO looking forward to meeting you all. Free entrance and lots of parking available – this is going to be such a great day!!

We have invited along the very best of local services to join us – With such a wide variety of specialists, services and activities all under one roof – there will be something to suit everyone!

To kick the day off to an incredible start – the first 50 bumps arriving will each receive a buggy bag worth £15.00 from Jojo Maman Bebe all with a few bits inside – huge thanks to Rachel and the Leamington team for arranging these for us – and everyone that attends will be able to enter into a prize draw to win a £30 voucher to spend in their store or online!!

We are organizing talks throughout the day:

11.15 Pippa – Sing and Sign – communication with your baby.

11.45 Birthability – Birthing essentials for birth partners – know your role!

12.15 UHCW midwives – Home, Midwife led unit or labour ward?

12.45 Anna Leeksma – Sling Demonstration – benefits of holding your baby close.

1.15 Jo Wale – Emscote Nursery – Choosing your childcare – 0-5 years.

Spaces for each of these are limited to 40 seats – so please sign up at the Birthability stall for your chosen talks when you arrive.

During the day you will be able to talk to local midwives, sonographers, homeopaths, body and body therapists, acupuncturists, masseuse, antenatal course providers, hypno-birthers, breastfeeding supporters, reflexologists, celebrants, osteopaths…… the list goes on.

There are a few opportunities to spend a few pennies if you wish at The Cotton Baby Company shop, Forever Living, Natures Sunshine, and Usborne books – all offering the highest quality products for use in pregnancy and the early days.

At Crazy Kiln you can create a lasting gift for someone special – but please arrive and sign up early as there are limited spaces for this popular stall.
Passport photography is available for little ones (have you ever tried to get one done in a photo booth?) – as well as some studio shots for Christmas cards – or speak to Little Beanies about their beautiful brand of lifestyle photography (which can be seen on our website).

Those with babies can enjoy activities with their little ones such as Sing and Sign or Arty Splats and talk about safe exercise with Mum & Me Fitness, or learn about baby swimming with Little Splashers.
If you are looking for somewhere to go because life with your little one seems a little isolating then talk to the lovely health visitors that are coming to support us, or speak to the Family Tree Members club in Leamington who all host various postnatal groups. The Family Nurse Partnership will be welcoming our young families and promoting the wonderful ways they can offer extra support.

Finally we would love you to come and speak to us at the Birthability stall to learn about our range of services providing antenatal classes across the region, pregnancy yoga, doula support, breastfeeding help and baby massage. And of course – if you are one of our previous clients – come and show us your baby!!!

Our Birthability car will be outside the front door, and we are asking families to donate previously loved baby slings and carriers as well as reusable nappies. Helping Hands is our chosen charity for the day and they will redistribute these items – as well as disposable nappies to local families in need.

If you want to put your feet up during the day then grab a tea and cake – all proceeds will also be going toward this amazing local charity.

So put the date in your diary – we will be so excited to see you on the day!!
